The strict but fair Panther Teacher is respected by the children. They, of course, love her because the teacher opens new horizons for them, shows them a beautiful park and a glade with butterflies.
The teacher has something in common with Bagheera from ‘The Jungle Book’ by Rudyard Kipling – the same severity but with boundless love for children. The teacher is not authoritarian, and in some matters, like making carnival costumes, the panther gives children complete freedom of choice.
